Five days ago, I had my 65th birthday. I had a nice party and received some very lovely gifts; some of which are shown above. They are: A 20 oz. coffee mug from my daughter, Rebecca and an award winning picture of a pocket watch (which I gave her as a gift) taken by my grand-daughter, Elizabeth. In retrospect, I feel blessed for having children and grandchildren who love me and are not afraid to show it. Truly God has been good to me....
Psalm 127 (NASB)
Psa 127:3 Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Psa 127:4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth.
Psa 127:5 How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They will not be ashamed When they speak with their enemies in the gate.
Psa 127:4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth.
Psa 127:5 How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They will not be ashamed When they speak with their enemies in the gate.
Please forgive this bit of bragging, but it is good to feel loved and I wanted to share that with you. And the coffee tasted great too!!!
