12 Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Jesus is the light of the world, but being in physical form, did in fact cast a shadow. The important thing about this is that light is truth and once you see it, you will never want to see another "shadow"again.
