I left a "sticky note" for God by Gary Rose

As I was sitting before the empty computer screen, thinking of what to write, I decided to write a "sticky note" to God. The note would have to be short because sticky notes don't give you much room. It would have to be meaningful because I really don't want to waste God's time. Also, it would need to be respectful of God and submissive in nature.

As you might have guessed by this time, it involves my will. I wrote it because of the impact of Jesus' words in the Gospel of John...

John, Chapter 6 (World English Bible)
35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.   36  But I told you that you have seen me, and yet you don’t believe.   37  All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. He who comes to me I will in no way throw out.   38  For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.  (emphasis added, vs. 38) 39  This is the will of my Father who sent me, that of all he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise him up at the last day.   40  This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Jesus was ready and willing to do God's will and not his own. Christians should be the same as Jesus. Enough said.
