Seeing beyond the "white" by Gary Rose

This picture is the 2017 winner of the natural history photography contest. It depicts an Artic Fox with a "prize" for lunch. Imagine living in the Artic? Cold, desolation, loneliness and an overpowering color- white.

Somehow, this animal found its next meal and under such conditions, which is amazing! This brings to mind a singular thought: Do we appreciate the blessings we enjoy on a daily basis?

Solomon, that great king in ancient Israel, said...

Ecclesiastes, Chapter 5 (WEB)
18 Behold, that which I have seen to be good and proper is for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy good in all his labor, in which he labors under the sun, all the days of his life which God has given him; for this is his portion. 19 Every man also to whom God has given riches and wealth, and has given him power to eat of it, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God.  20 For he shall not often reflect on the days of his life; because God occupies him with the joy of his heart.

Each of us is blessed with good things from God, according to the wisdom from above. How blessed is the man who recognizes this and reflects upon the true source of all that is good in his life - GOD!

Is that you?
