How long would a person be employed if they set their own hours, made up their own rules, and did things their own way? Who would dare tell their boss what to do, and how to do it? Yet, many try to impose their own way with God. There is man’s way versus God’s way. Man’s way proceeds from the lusts of their own heart, but God’s way begins and ends with His Word. Mankind will fire us for insubordination, but God will set us on fire.
