We learned how to walk, and talk as children by following our parental example. We learn how to walk, and talk as Christians by following our biblical example, Jesus Christ. Jesus obeyed God’s commandments explicitly, and did only what God instructed him to say, and do. Jesus followed the will of God by being baptized, though he sinned not, and remained faithful, even to the cross, to take away the sins of the world. Christ commanded with full authority that the gospel be preached unto all the world, and stated it clearly: Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, and whoever believes not will be condemned. Jesus gave us the example, he gave us the commandment, and he gave us the ultimatum. How beautiful it is to walk in the steps of the Savior, and in the light of His Word.
