This is the picture located on the main page of a new MX-Linux distribution spin-off, which I am developing called “Heavenward”. Its focus will be to increase spirituality by Bible reading, Bible study, prayer, hymns and information of all sorts that will lead to a life closer with God.
Think about what life in the U.S.A. has become. Sin has become more and more prevalent and acceptable by the general population. America, over the last few years has accepted the murder of unborn babies by the tens of MILLIONS. Drug abuse and the coddling of criminals has allowed this country to become a VERY DANGEROUS PLACE. We are continually fed lies by a left wing communist leaning media.
Yet, there are still many Bible believing, Bible obeying Christians in our nation. They long for our nation to become what it once was- A God fearing, Christian nation. Until the time that this becomes a reality, Christians will do what they can to please God and obey the laws of our land. Along with these things, Christians look forward to the day that they enter heaven. Consider this passage from the final book of the Bible and dream of the day it becomes reality.

1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more. 2 I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband. 3 I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with people, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. 4 He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away.” 5 He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” He said, “Write, for these words of God are faithful and true.” 6 He said to me, “I have become the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life. 7 He who overcomes, I will give him these things. The kings of the earth bring the glory and honor of the nations into it. 25 Its gates will in no way be shut by day (for there will be no night there), 26 and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it so that they may enter. 27 There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
My fellow Christian, be faithful unto death and look forward to your reward- eternal fellowship with God in heaven. Read and re-read this chapter and rejoice in what awaits us there!
