Eureka! by Gary Rose

Now, THIS is a picture! Old cars, clothing, buildings and take a look at how the people are dressed! BUT, something is out of place; can you guess what it is? Take your time and really look- you will find it I am quite sure.

Yes, its that McDonald's sign at the top left. The Golden Arches were not introduced until the 1950's. So, someone photoshoped  this picture. People will do all sorts of things to trick you for many, many reasons. Don't think I am right about this? Then, ask yourself this question: What does the word "Hacker" mean?

Truthfully, some human beings (and I use the term very loosely) really enjoy hurting others by tricking them.  This is especially true when it comes to understanding the Scriptures. And then I thought of a couple of passages from the New Testament...

Ephesians, Chapter 4 (World English Bible)
 11 He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;
  12 for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ,
  13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,
  14 that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
  15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ,
    (emphasis added, vs.14f.)
  16 from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.

AND...

2 Timothy, Chapter 2 (WEB)
 15 Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth.

Just one example..

 Acts, Chapter 17 (WEB)
 1 Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a Jewish synagogue.
  2 Paul, as was his custom, went in to them, and for three Sabbath days reasoned with them from the Scriptures,
  3 explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus, whom I proclaim to you, is the Christ.”

  4 Some of them were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas, of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and not a few of the chief women.
  5 But the unpersuaded Jews took along some wicked men from the marketplace, and gathering a crowd, set the city in an uproar. Assaulting the house of Jason, they sought to bring them out to the people.
  6 When they didn’t find them, they dragged Jason and certain brothers before the rulers of the city, crying, “These who have turned the world upside down have come here also,
  7 whom Jason has received. These all act contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, Jesus!”
  8 The multitude and the rulers of the city were troubled when they heard these things.
  9 When they had taken security from Jason and the rest, they let them go.
  10 The brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Beroea. When they arrived, they went into the Jewish synagogue.

  11 Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.
  12 Many of them therefore believed; also of the prominent Greek women, and not a few men.
(emphasis added, vs.11f.)

With all these things in mind- Be very careful out there! Study, test what is taught, just as any wise adult would do!!!

And when you find the truth- Eureka!
