If YOU Can’t Stand the Heat–Stay Out of Hell
If we break man’s law, don’t we expect to
be punished if we get caught? Yet, we know God sees, hears, and knows
all about us, even the intent of our heart, but for some reason we think
we can escape his punishment. A full one third of the world’s
population believes in God, and His Word, yet we cringe when anyone
mentions the word hell, as though someone just cursed, or spoke of a
mythical place that doesn’t exist. Hell is a real place that God has
prepared for those who disobey him. It is hot enough to make our eyes
weep, our teeth gnash, to beg for water, and to ask for the mountains to
fall upon us. It enlarges every day, the devil and his angels will be
cast into it, and all those who know not God, and obey not the gospel of
Christ. The bottom line is: If you can’t stand the heat, stay out of
hell by obeying the gospel of Christ.
