WE MUST COME CLEAN
A sinner is worse when they pretend to be a saint, and a saint is best when they admit they are still a sinner. None is so imperfect as one who pretends that they are without sin. We all sin, and fall short of the glory of God. Jesus’ greatest warnings come to those who professed godliness, but did the works of unrighteousness. God can’t wipe away our sins, unless we first admit we have them. God provided us repentance to turn from our sins, baptism to wash them away, and eternal life to those who continue in the faith. God can’t cleanse us, until we first comes clean.
