To laugh, is to risk appearing a fool.
To weep, is to risk appearing weak.
To reach out for friendship, is to risk rejection.
To expose feelings, is to risk revealing who we truly are.
To dare to dream, is to risk appearing immature.
To love, is to risk having your heart broken.
To live, is to risk dying.
To hope, is to risk despair.
To try, is to risk failure.
But the greatest hazard in life is, to risk nothing.
The one who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, is nothing.
