In a
single word- NO.
Many
will say that God is dead, but the proof that God is not dead is the
fact that Jesus Is Not!!! Jesus
was raised from the dead after being crucified and appeared to as
many as 500 witnesses at one time.
The
Scriptures teach...
1
Corinthians 15 (World English
Bible)
1 Now
I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you,
which also you received, in which you also stand, 2 by
which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I
preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 3 For
I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that
Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that
he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the
Scriptures, 5 and
that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 Then
he appeared to over five hundred brothers at once, most of whom
remain until now, but some have also fallen asleep. (emphasis
added)
7 Then
he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8 and
last of all, as to the child born at the wrong time, he appeared to
me also.
Acts
1 (World English
Bible)
1 The
first book I wrote, Theophilus, concerned all that Jesus began both
to do and to teach, 2 until
the day in which he was received up, after he had given commandment
through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen. 3 To
these he also showed himself alive after he suffered, by many proofs,
appearing to them over a period of forty days, and speaking about
God’s Kingdom. (emphasis
added) 4 Being
assembled together with them, he commanded them, “Don’t
depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which
you heard from me. 5 For
John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Holy
Spirit not many days from now.”
6 Therefore when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, are you now restoring the kingdom to Israel?”
7 He said to them, “It isn’t for you to know times or seasons which the Father has set within his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”
9 When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 While they were looking steadfastly into the sky as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white clothing, 11 who also said, “You men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who was received up from you into the sky will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky.” (emphasis added)

People
will believe what they really WANT to believe, but unless your core
beliefs are founded on facts, you are just fooling yourself. Many
people beyond counting have borne witness with their very lives to
the absolute facts of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection.
Follow
truth.
Live eternally! Some day you will see for yourself that Jesus lives!
Just be sure that you do what is necessary to enter heaven!!! In
hell, there will be no place for changing your mind about
what you believe to be true!!!
