THE JUDGEMENT SEAT by steve finnell
The Supreme Court can rule that gay
marriage is legal. The Supreme Court can judge that the killing of
unborn babies is the law of the land, however, when men stand for the
final judgement, it will not be before nine men in black robes. All men
will stand before the judgement seat of Christ.
Hebrews 9:27 And inasmuch as it is appointed for all men to die once and after that comes judgment,(NASB)
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all
appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be
recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done,
whether good or bad. (NASB)
Acts 10:42 And He ordered us to preach to
the people, and solemnly to testify that this is the One who has been
appointed by God as Judge of the living and the dead.(NASB)
Is there an escape from the punishment from sin on Judgment Day? Yes.
Acts 10:43 Of Him all the prophets bear
witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives
forgiveness of Sins.(NASB)
Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, "Repent,
and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the
forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy
Spirit.(NASB)
Mark 16:16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.(NASB)
Can men reject Faith John 3:16,
Repentance Acts 3:19, Confession Romans 10:9, and Immersion in water
Acts 22:16, 1 Peter 3:21 and escape the penalty of sins that they have
committed?
UNREPENTANT HEART
Romans 2:5 But because of your
stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself
in the day of wrath and revelation of righteousness judgment of
God.(NASB)
Pride is the roadblock to faith for the
forgiveness of sins, repentance for the forgiveness of sins, confession
for the forgiveness of sins, and baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
