Relaxing

At first glance this looked like a painting, but of course it isn't. What stays with you though is the feeling of serenity, peace and calm. Today, that is a rare thing indeed, because our lives are filled with deadlines and a barrage of information and a constant connectivity that fills our entire day. So, this shows a slower, more reflective way of life that you normally experience on vacation or if the following Psalm applies to your life.

Psalms 23:1-6 WEB (R)
(1) Yahweh is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing.
(2) He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
(3) He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
(4) Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
(5) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup runs over.
(6) Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in Yahweh's house forever.

Contentment, guidance, fearlessness and a heavenly future. Quite a list! One thing even greater than all these is to know your maker by HIS NAME and not just the title LORD. So, just for a second put yourself in the picture and realize that you are NEVER alone, for Yahweh is always there. Comforting thought which makes the picture even more relaxing.
