The safe stash...?

What a great idea!!!  Who would ever think of putting a "safe" inside an electrical socket?  Makes me think of the saying "the best place to hide something is in plain sight".  However, nothing is really safe.  Even the best "safe" can be broken into and bank robberies are commonplace.  The stock market is full of crooks and our government which oversees those who handle business is both inept and corrupt.  Money and security DO NOT GO HAND IN HAND.  Here today, gone tomorrow!!!  Of course, this made me think of the "sermon on the mount"; specifically, this passage...

WEB: Matthew Chapter 6

[19] “Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; [20] but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; [21] for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

The things that have true value are truly spiritual.  They really are!!!  Money can change in its value; remember paying 39 cents for a gallon of gas?  The more things you own, the more it takes to keep them and the more others want them, so there is more chance of losing them.  If your life is focused on love and the well being of others, those things will endure beyond your lifespan.  How about your relationship with God?  If you try to please him in all things in this life, can anyone really put a value on living forever in heaven?  True safety only resides in the one who has ultimate power and that is God.  And that safety is better than any trick safe that could ever be made!
