A grocery list

This isn't my list. I have a developed art capability of stick figures, period. Truthfully, I really don't understand the mind that works like this, but I can still appreciate it, nonetheless. I does bring out a fact about humanity though; we are all different. And as this is true of the population in general, it is true in the church as well. Consider Paul's comment in the book of Ephesians.
Eph 4:11-16
11 He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;
12 for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ;
13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
14 that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ;
16 from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love. WEB
Diversity with a purpose; with good reason. It takes all kinds of people to do the work of God. And in the process, building each other up. The key factor here is found in the very last verse of the passage:love. Without it, what's the point? With it, you have everything. Notice its purpose; a unity of faith, knowledge of the Son of God, to full Spiritual growth. Not only does the church need love which causes spiritual growth, but the entire WORLD does as well. Every day I see images of hate, descriptions of evil and lack of concern for my fellow human beings in the media and sometimes I really don't even want to see a TV newscast anymore. But, the world is what it is and we can only change what we can change and if we start with ourselves, perhaps that is enough. In the meantime, try to appreciate someone Else's take on life, even if it as simple as a grocery list.
