The "test" beyond the "TEST" by Gary Rose

Put another way, these signs might read "go ahead, I DARE you"!  And some of us would do it; regardless of the danger!  Why? Thrills, Chills, Pride, Arrogance... and the list goes on.  Who would ask you to do such a thing? Your family, a longtime (and very close) friend, your preacher, your teacher, your doctor? I don't think so!! Again, Why? Because they CARE about you and have your best interest in mind and can see the likelihood of a bad outcome.

And what about GOD? The apostle James says...

James, Chapter 1 (WEB)
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. 14 But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.  15 Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, produces death. (emp. added G.D.R.)

God may test you, but with a view of a positive outcome, a godly one. Evil is from the evil ONE and the expected outcome reflects his diabolical character. In regards to that temptation in the picture- it seems to me that its not the break in the road that the problem; you just might traverse that one, but rather that down-the-road danger of that second obstacle.  You know, the one you can't really see the danger in; and for all you know, it might be the one that does you in.
