Today is Thursday, my favorite day of the week!!! For some unexplainable reason Thursday's have always been the best day of a normal workweek and to my surprise they have remained so, even in retirement. Now, its because "The big bang theory" is on TV today. I really don't know anything about the personal lives of the actors on the show and they really could be like this in "real life", but it really seems odd to see them portrayed this way. But, who knows, maybe this is how they really are. At first glance, I thought, "boy have they changed", but then again, people CAN CHANGE!!! That can be true for everyday people as well, especially if they decide to become Christians....
1 You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience; 3 among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. 4 But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus; 8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, that no one would boast.
When a person becomes a Christian, what is most obvious is a change in their behavior; they just act differently. Why, because their attitude towards the sinful things of this world has changed. Change CAN be a good thing, as my mental image of penny has improved GREATLY!! I just wish I could say the same for Dr. Sheldon Cooper!!!!!
