To the best of my knowledge, all of the above are true. But, read the title once again... The purpose of this sign is to tell a lie by telling the truth. Water is necessary to life, but this sign makes water deadly! Water is good, but like anything, if used incorrectly, is dangerous. The real danger here is the person whose desire seems to be to manipulate the truth for their own personal agenda. What is wrong with this? Read the passage from the prophet Isaiah, listed below...
Isaiah, Chapter 5
20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
who put darkness for light,
and light for darkness;
who put bitter for sweet,
and sweet for bitter!
who put darkness for light,
and light for darkness;
who put bitter for sweet,
and sweet for bitter!
If you call something good that is evil, then both words lose their meanings and anything goes. Good is GOOD and not EVIL, and are different. The same thing is true for light, darkness and bitter and sweet. Once you change the true meanings of words, anything goes and behavior can be anything you want it to be, without any morals whatsoever. Think long and hard about this one, because its one of the most important concepts you will ever understand. Are you listening, America?
