One can only wonder at what these two are discussing. He is obviously "doing his own thing"; drinking, smoking and being very distinctive with his mode of dress and creative haircut. He doesn't appear to be a teenager, though... take a look at his receding hairline!!! One look at her blouse, conservative shoes and hairdo will tell you a lot about her life and lifestyle. But, they do appear to be communicating and that is a good thing!!! Its nice to see something like this, because no matter how old you are, you still can learn a lot from interactions with a previous generation!!! Take this episode from the book of Daniel for instance...
Daniel, Chapter 5
10 Now the queen by reason of the words of the king and his lords came into the banquet house: the queen spoke and said, O king, live forever; don’t let your thoughts trouble you, nor let your face be changed. 11 There is a man in your kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of your father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him; and the king Nebuchadnezzar your father, the king, I say, your father, made him master of the magicians, enchanters, Chaldeans, and soothsayers; 12 because an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and showing of dark sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar. Now let Daniel be called, and he will show the interpretation.
Even a king can learn from others!!! And even a great man like Daniel learns from God!!! There is a lesson here: listen, others can teach you something!!! Even the worst among us have something to show us; although it just might be how bad a bad example can be. Life is full of learning, whether young or old. Even though I am in my sixties, I learn something new every single day, for the knowledge which God possesses is endless!!! I can only marvel at what God will teach me in heaven!!! How about you?
