I suppose that there are people out there that view God as an aloof, uncaring, being; so far removed from human beings that any connection with HIM is almost unimaginable. This couldn't be farther from the truth.

Being a Christian isn't easy, because it means being like your example- Jesus Christ!!! Frankly, the way the world seems to be going, those of us who call ourselves Christians may have to suffer at the hands of the ungodly. But, as verse 19 above teaches us- this is commendable. Please do NOT misunderstand; I am not looking to suffer, but during the next few years- anything can happen in America. Look at how many Christians have already been murdered in the middle east!!!
No matter what the future may hold, I encourage you to be faithful to Christ and encourage others to do the same!!! Heaven awaits for those who remain "in Christ"!!!
