As
I perused Facebook today, I saw this beautiful picture and absolutely
loved it. Perhaps it was the gentleness of the colors or the fact
that the moon’s beams were accidentally modified to form a heart,
or something else; yet its stark beauty enthralled me. Today, some
segments of our society are trying to repress Christianity; to
silence it and ultimately eliminate it completely. It is in times
like these we need to remember who we are and let the love of God
shine through us. Jesus said in the “sermon on the mount”:
Matthew
5 ( Modern Literal
Version )
Mat 5:14, You° are the light of the world. A city laying upon a
mountain is not able to be hid.
Mat 5:15, Nor are they burning a lamp and placing it under a peck
container, but upon the lamp-stand, and it is shining to all who are
in the house.
Mat 5:16, So let your° light shine before men, *that they may see
your° good works and may glorify your° Father, the one in the
heavens.
Be
special, be the Christian God wants you to be. When you do, you will
stand out and shine. Others will notice you and be drawn to God by
the way you live. Today, I present you with a challenge: Live your
life with Christ like you really, really mean it. If you do, it will
be a day everyone will remember, including yourself.
