This is a picture of a "fireworks turtle". One very beautiful creature! I couldn't help but think how marvelous this world is, how vast and varied is God's creation!
From the smallest creature that swims in the sea to the most massive whale there ever was- God made it! Consider that there suns that thousands of times bigger than our own and myriads of myriads of entire galaxies that we are just now discovering.
If we could see the entire electromagnetic spectrum with our own eyes, we could not even begin to see the scope of what God has done. He created EVERYTHING- just let that one thought sink in for a moment; EVERYTHING!!!
If I do only one thing today; if I just read that first chapter of the Bible and understand some of its magnificent scope- I will have had a wonderful day.

1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
2 The earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep and God’s Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.
3God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
4 God saw the light, and saw that it was good. God divided the light from the darkness.
5 God called the light “day”, and the darkness he called “night”. There was evening and there was morning, the first day.
6God said, “Let there be an expanse in the middle of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
7 God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.

Every single time I read Genesis 1:31 I marvel. Everything was VERY GOOD; just think about it!!! Perhaps the world will seem more beautiful to me from now on? One this is sure; I have begun to really appreciate turtles!
