Nothing from nothing is nothing by Gary Rose

For about 30 years I worked in laboratories of all kinds; Quality Control, Product development, Research, Technical service and the like. I have known countless scientists and technical people. As a group, they tend to be extremely intelligent and great at math and science. Most had a very, very good memory and a few seemed to have a fantastic one. They tended to be loners, with a lack of socialization.

Now, to me, the scientific method boils down to this: 

1. Design an experiment, listing all its parameters.

2. Perform the experiment fully.

3. Draw conclusions based on observations.

4. Repeat the experiment several times until the outcome can be determined  without excessive error.

5. Draw conclusions from your experiments.

6. Write a detailed report, stating all the various conditions of your experiments, your procedure in conducting the experiment and present the data and conclusions from your work.

Creation was a long time ago. No one was there (except God, of course). The scientific method cannot be applied. Guesswork based on experiments that can be done today is our only avenue of discussion and yet the scientific community speaks to the "fact" of the "big bang" as if it were absolute truth. I find this ridiculous!!!

The atheist denies that God exists. He has no facts, therefore cannot draw conclusions. His beliefs about the origins of the world are in itself a RELIGION.

Romans, Chapter 1 (WEB)

  ¹³ Now I don’t desire to have you unaware, brothers, that I often planned to come to you, and was hindered so far, that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among the rest of the Gentiles.  ¹⁴ I am debtor both to Greeks and to foreigners, both to the wise and to the foolish.  ¹⁵ So as much as is in me, I am eager to preach the Good News to you also who are in Rome.  ¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.  ¹⁷ For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.” ¹⁸ For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,  ¹⁹ because that which is known of God is revealed in them, for God revealed it to them.  ²⁰ For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse.  ²¹ Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.   ²² Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,  ²³ and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, four-footed animals, and creeping things.  ²⁴ Therefore God also gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves;  ²⁵ who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. 

Psalm 14 (WEB)

 ¹ The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” 
They are corrupt. 
They have done abominable deeds. There is no one who does good.

Things just don't "happen". Something doesn't come from nothing. There is design in everything, therefore there must be a designer. God is that being; accept it or be foolish. Frankly, I see no other options.

Even after all this- there is good news!!! Jesus can forgive even the foolish!!!
